Mission
To nurture compassionate and community-minded Fuhuanites who steward their talents to lead with purpose to improve lives
Goals
(1) Active Citizenship
Students who know the community well and are interested in addressing issues in the community. Students initiating new programmes that meet community needs and establish long-standing relationships with community partners.
(2) Empathetic Stewardship
Compassionate and responsible students who take pride in being part of and contributing to their school and the larger community well beyond their schooling years.
(3) Inspiring Leadership
Students are role models and mentors within their school and the larger community. They commit themselves to influencing others to make meaningful contributions to society.
CYL Framework
Tier 1 Experience - For all Fuhuanites
Develop leadership skillsets through service learning (i.e. planning class-/CCA-based VIA)
Understand social issues in the community in 3 domains: People, Arts, Sustainability (PAS)
Build up personal strengths and interests
Tier 2 Exemplary - For Student Leaders, Interested / Selected Students and Passionate Students
Practise and apply knowledge and skills in curated projects that meet community needs
Seek out opportunities to initiate and lead in passion projects in any of the 3 domains: People, Arts, Sustainability (PAS)
Strengthen leadership skillsets through seeking out mentors and mentoring others
